China's Recently Launched English-Language Science and Technology Journals, 2012–16

This article surveys the publishers, publishing regions, disciplines, and open access status of recently established English-language journals in science and technology in China over a five-year period, 2012-16. It discusses the impetus for launching the journals and the challenges they face.
