Evaluating grass–legume forage mixtures across different environments

This article summarizes results from a field experiment was across six study sites in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. The main objective of this study was to evaluate alfalfa and tall fescue mixtures across a wide range of environments to assess mixture productivity, weed suppression, and fertilizer nitrogen replacement value (FNRV) of alfalfa.
