Abstract
The construction of Pedagogical Course Projects (PPC) in compliance with the National Curricular Guidelines (DCN) has become a challenge for institutions of higher education, after the Law of Guidelines and Bases (LDB), mainly since 2003. This article Analyzes the DCNs for Environmental Education (EA), instituted by Resolution of the Ministry of Education No. 02 of 06.15.2012, which provides for the actions of AEs necessary to the PPP in compliance with the National Environmental Education Policy of 1999, for the development of professional qualification. This study is part of a doctoral research involving three federal institutions. The objective of this study is to analyze the DCNEA and the PPC of the Forestry Engineering course of the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) in order to identify appropriate actions and methodologies in EE and possible spaces for adaptation. The data of the ENADE (2011) were used to define this study objective, since the UFLA course obtained the best grade in this exam. Qualitative research was defined as methodological strategy, with literature review and documentary analysis in Brazilian environmental legislations, as well as in the DCN for Forestry Engineering, DCNEA and PPC courses in Forestry Engineering at UFLA. After the PPC analysis, it was possible to notice that in the UFLA PPC, an adequacy would be necessary in relation to the EA principles foreseen in the DCNEA.
