Temperature-dependence laws of absorption line shape parameters of the CO2 ν3 band

•Temperature-dependence of non-Voigt parameters studied experimentally over a 140 K temperature range.•T-dependence of speed-dependence, γ2, differs from T-dependence of linewidth, γ0.•Recommendations given as to which temperature laws should be used for the studied parameters.•Rotational quantum number dependence of temperature-dependences obtained.
