High resolution FTIR spectroscopy of the ν7 band of CD3CCH

•High resolution infrared spectrum of ν7 band of propyne-d3.•Ro-vibrational analysis of ν7/ν4 dyad that accounts for x-y Coriolis, k- and l–type interactions.•About 2400 ro-vibrational transitions with J upto 61 and KΔK = −13 to 12 have been assigned.•The rotational constants and band center for the perturbing ν4 “shadow” state have been determined.
