Significant Incidence Of Synchronous Lesions In Early Gastric Cancer Resected By Esd

Endoscopists may become overly focused on the discovery of one early gastric cancer (EGC) lesion during screening, which may result in missing other synchronous lesions. As the systemic screening protocol for the stomach and magnification with narrow-band imaging has been adopted, the diagnosis rate of EGC in our hospital has improved. We herein summarize characteristics of synchronous multiple early gastric cancers that were resected by ESD.
