Abstract
The pulmonary component of the human respiratory microbiome is transplanted into the recipient at the time of lung transplantation (LTX). We explored the changing dynamics of lower respiratory tract infection after LTX and the role of donor colonisation. The impact of targeted antibiotic therapy was also investigated.
