Introduction: Auricular acupuncture (mechanical stimulation of cranial nerves) is reported to be superior to placebo condition in treatment of test anxiety. Progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) is an established behavioural method, which is used to treat stress and anxiety in students before exams.
