High temperature and low field regime vortex phase diagram of in-situ prepared stainless steel sheathed MgB2 tapes☆

•Magnetoresistance study of in-situ prepared tapes of MgB2.•TAFF study to determine technological relevance of in-situ prepared MgB2 tapes.•Existing reports on MgB2 thin films and on the bulk MgB2 samples, present phase diagram up to different extent of details using magnetoresistance and E-J studies and have contradictions about the critical parameters. Vortex phase diagram for in-situ prepared MgB2 tapes is presented.
