Impact of purified oat 1-3,1-4-β-d-glucan of different molecular weight on alleviation of inflammation parameters during gastritis

•Low molecular weight oat beta-glucan decrease the IL-10 concentration in gastritis animals.•High molecular weight oat beta-glucan causes high decrease of TNF-α in control and gastritis animals.•Both MW fractions significantly support innate antioxidant defense of stomach tissue in both groups.
