摘要
e13515Background: Molecular alterations in GBM, might better explain than morphology or clinical factors, differences in outcome and response to treatment. Multiple data integration an homogeneous treatment of studied patients (p) is essential to obtain conclusive results. The objective of the GLIOCAT Group was to collect clinical data, MRI images, tissue and genomic information of an equally treated group of newly diagnosed p to conduct a multidimensional study with diverse pre-planned objectives. Methods: Collaborative study of 6 tertiary centers of Catalonia that shared clinical data of GBMp that were treated after surgery with the standard Stupp’s regimen, between 2005 and 2014. Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) samples of each case have been collected. We assessed MGMT status if previously not done, and constructed several Tissue Microarrays (TMA) for immunohistochemistry analysis from all cases. Best samples have been further processed for RNA extraction in order to proceed with RNA sequencing...
