Abstract
•Copper oxide supported on TiO2 is a heterogeneous catalyst to promote C–N coupling in the presence of base.•Toluene/THF is a suitable solvent for C–N coupling with supported Cu catalyst.•KEtO is a suitable base to promote C–N coupling using supported Cu catalyst.•Washings of the used supported Cu catalyst allows a recovery about 88% of the activity of fresh catalysts.
