摘要
Glasses in the system AgI-Ag2O-MoO3, with various amounts of AgI, have been investigated by differential scanning calorimetry with a view to the evaluation of the Narayanaswamy parameter, x, which controls the relative contributions of temperature and structure to the retardation times. The glasses have been annealed at temperatures close to their glass transition temperatures, and their response on heating at constant rate has been analysed by the peak shift method. The parameter x is found to increase from 0.50 to 0.65 as the AgI content increases from 40% to 60%, while DELTA-C(p) and the dimensionless ratio DELTA-C(p)/C(pl) both decrease. These observations lend support to the 'cluster tissue' model for the structure of these glasses.
