Analysis of weight and BMI among patients with Huntington’s disease

Introduction: Patients with Huntington’s Disease (HD) have lower body weight and BMI than their healthy controls. As the illness progresses, body weight declines and BMI reduces. The loss of weight in HD could be secondary to lower calorie intake, hypermetabolism and the need of increased calorie intake due to chorea.
