摘要

•The MHD flow contributes to the MR phase through the MRI pulse sequence parameters.•Different velocity phase encoding is observed for each k-space line due to the time varying MHD flow.•MHD flow imaging can be realized for injection currents with small amplitudes and large durations.•Results for an injected current of 1 mA and 30 ms exhibit potential for clinical applications.
