Monitoring Blood Flow During Vascular-Targeted Photodynamic Therapy Using Laser Speckle Imaging

摘要
Laser speckle imaging was used to monitor blood flow dynamics during and after vascular-targeted photodynamic therapy (V-PDT). The results show that blood flow and blood perfusion rate was decreased after V-PDT, while the blood flow in veins could be partially increased after treatment. This study suggest that the LSI system hold the potential for quantitative assessment of vascular damage for V-PDT.
