Abstract
Rationale: Skeletal muscle depletion and low muscle quality are poor prognostic factors for pancreatic cancer. However, the association between skeletal muscle depletion and chemotherapy in advanced biliary tract cancer (ABC) remains unclear. We measured skeletal muscle mass and muscle quality in patients with ABC treated with cisplatin and gemcitabine (CisGem), and retrospectively examined the association between treatment and prognosis.
