•Saffron floral bio-residues are rich source of natural value-added compounds.•Extraction kinetics modelling of TPC, TA and AA for CLSE, UAE, MAE.•Optimum solid-to-liquid ratios of TPC kinetics: 1:20 CLSE, 1:30 UAE and 1:50 MAE.•At 1:30, k of UAE for TPC, TA and AA were the lowest, and h the largest.•Extraction kinetic modelling allows process scale-up to industrial level.
