Repeated, Planned Levosimendan Infusions in Patients With Advanced Heart Failure Eligible for Heart Transplantation

There are some reports on repeated, planned Levosimendan infusions (rp-Levo) in patients (pts) with advanced chronic heart failure (HF), to reduce symptoms and hospitalizations. We describe hemodynamic changes and clinical outcomes in pts listed or eligible for heart transplantation (HTx), who received rp-Levo to reverse pulmonary hypertension (PH) and/or for weaning from continuous i.v. inotropes.
