Human-friendly health monitoring system for service to the elderly and the disabled

Health monitoring systems are important components of the smart houses for the disabled and the elderly. Numerous intelligent devices, embedded into the home environment, will provide the resident 24-hour health monitoring. Our health-monitoring project is oriented to human-friendly health monitoring where many sensors, installed in the home environment collect information about different health parameters without bothering user or causing him/her any inconvenience. The paper describes different modules of the designed system and connection between them. Further, the structure of the ECG monitoring system is described.
