Abstract
In the platform of supervisory control system based on SOA, message bus provides the facilities of data exchange between different processes in different computers as an important middleware. With the continuous expansion of application scope and system scale, the quantity of data via message bus increases rapidly. It is urgent to improve the message bus performance to provide better quality of service. Furthermore, the new generation of supervisory control system carries out partitions according to the function or the region into cooperative subsystems for flexibility. Message bus needs to be redesigned to meet the new requirements. In this paper, the technologies of message bus involved in the platform of supervisory control system are studied. And a new version of message bus which is suitable to multi-subnet environment, is designed and implemented with cross-platform and high performance. Firstly, the paper describes the introduction of message bus in the platform of supervisory control system. Secondly, the target architecture is proposed by identifying the major limitation in current message bus and studying the requirements for new generation of the supervisory control system. Thirdly, the paper discusses the key technologies related to performance, reliability and QoS in message bus, and gives the mechanism of solution. Finally, subsystems and modules are analyzed in detail and the software is developed as well.
