摘要
This paper presents an experimental study on the feasibility of simultaneous wireless power and information transfer in fully-enclosed environments. The experiments are conducted within a cubic box with side length 1 meter around 410 MHz, which is close to the resonant frequency of TM220 mode. Wireless channels within the cubic box are characterized in the frequency domain as well as time domain. Data measured in the frequency domain and time domain agree with each other, and they both demonstrate excellent wireless communication channels approximately between 390 MHz and 430 MHz, that is, with absolute bandwidth as large as 40 MHz. A high power transmission efficiency up to 95% is observed for certain locations of the receiving element. Based upon the data collected in our measurements, these channels could be readily employed to accommodate simultaneous wireless power and information transfer with high efficiency and data rate of at least 20 Mbps.
