Abstract: This paper is the simulation of optical properties using a theoretical Mie model for computing the extinction, scattering and absorption properties of nickel and nickel/titanium dioxide nanoparticles at various radius. We use the Matlab Code to compute optical characteristics of these nanoparticles. Our results show that we are able to measured extinction, absorption and scattering properties of these nanoparticles in the wavelength of 300 nm to 1200nm.
