摘要
•The values of density and viscosity for aqueous [C3py][DCA] were determined.•The apparent molar volume and activation energy for viscous flow for aqueous [C3py][DCA] were obtained.•In terms of Jones-Dole equation, the viscosity B-coefficients were obtained and discussed.•According to Feakins, thermodynamic parameters of the activation for viscous flow for aqueous [C3py][DCA] were obtained.•According to Eyring’s theory, viscosity for aqueous [C3py][DCA] was estimated by a semi-empirical method.
