Transient over-voltage waveshapes measured by the monitoring system based on the 500kV CVT within a low-voltage capacitor C3

摘要
In this paper, the transient over-voltage (TOV) online monitoring technology based on the 500kV capacitive voltage transformer (CVT) is introduced, including an voltage divider formed by the 500kV CVTs within an unit C 3 (the low-voltage capacitor) and the development of an intelligent TOV monitoring system. Based on this monitoring system, some recorded typical TOV waveshapes are displayed and analyzed, which shows the feasibility and reliability of the online monitoring technology and system in long-term field application.
