Diagnosis : cutaneous leiomyomatosis

Histological examination of a nodule removed from the right upper arm showed, with routine staining a normal epidermis and an accumulation of pink interlacing bundles in the corium (Fig. 5). With elastica-van Gieson staining these bundles displayed a yellow color (Fig. 6). The cells of the bundles showed elongated cigar-like nuclei.j
