Intravenous immunoglobulin replacement treatment does not alter polymorphonuclear leukocytes function and surface receptors expression in patients with common variable immunodeficiency

•PMN from HD and CVID show a similar CD11b, CD16 and Siglec 9 surface expression.•PMN from CVID patients show an increased PMA-induced oxidative burst than HD.•IVIg reduced the PMA-induced oxidative burst but not the expression of receptors.•IVIg did not affect the PMN ability to respond to stimulations through Fcγ receptors.
