Itopride hydrochloride combined with compound azintamide in treatment of diabetic gastro-paresis

Objective To observe the effect and safety of itopride hydrochloride combined with compound azintamide in treatment of diabetic gastro-paresis patients.Methods 120 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups,60 cases in the treatment with itopride hydrochloride combined with compound azintamide(Group A),60 cases in the treatment with domperidone combined with compound azintamide(Group B).Dosage and administration:orally,itopride 50mg at a time,taken before 3 meals,compound azintamide 2 tablets at a time,taken after 3 meals.The course of 2 groups was all 14 days.To observe the change of symptom score before and after treatment,such as abdominal distension,abdominal pain,anorexia,nausea, vomiting and other symptoms,these indexes were calculated the efficiency.Measured and compared the gastric half emptying time(GET_(1/2)) before and after treatment.Results After treatment the symptoms total score of 2 groups decreased than before.The improved degree of the group A was better than that of group B(P 0.01),GET_(1/2) in the group A and group B were significantly shorter,there was a statistically significant difference between before and alter treatment,the improved degree of the group A was better than that of group B.There was no obvious adverse reaction.Two groups of fasting and postprandial normal gastric electric rhythm percentage were increased after treatment,bradygastria rate lowered,there was a significant difference(P 0.05) compared with before treatment.Compared to group A and group B after treatment difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion The combined treatment with itopride and compound azintamide can improve the treatment of diabetic gastro-paresis,and the safety is good.
