Effect of Yiqi Yangyin Jiedu Prescription on the Quality of Life in Treating Radiotherapy for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Objective:To study the effect of Yiqi Yangyin Jiedu prescription prevent and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy complications and its effect on quality of life of patients. Methods:52 cases were randomly divided into observer group and control group. Two groups of patients were treated with radiotherapy alone,but the observer group and taking Yiqi Yangyin Jiedu prescription during radiotherapy and 1 month after radiotherapy. Two groups were compared the incidence of complications of radiotherapy,the improvement of he main clinical symptoms and quality of life. Results:Complications of radiotherapy patients in the observer group was significantly less than the control group( P 0. 05),the main clinical symptoms of headache,nasal congestion,nasal bleeding 3 symptoms improve in the observer group than the control group( P 0. 05),but blocked swallowing and neck mass were not significant( P 0. 05);while the quality of life in the observer group were higher than the control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion:Yiqi Yangyin Jiedu prescription can reduce the complications of radiotherapy in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma,better the clinical symptoms,improve the quality of life.
