Abstract
A multi-wall carbon nanotubes(MWNTs) and tetra-(p-chorophenyl) porphinatomanganese chlorid(T(p-Cl)PPMnⅢCl) modified glassy carbon electrode(MWNTs/T(p-Cl)PPMnⅢCl/GCE) was prepared. The electrochemical behavior of dihydroxybenzene isomers was studied on the modified electrode.Owing to the unique properties of MWNTs and special synergy effect of MWNTs and T(p-Cl)-PPMnⅢCl,anodic peak current of isomers increased dramatially and the anodic peaks could be separated well.It could be used for individual or simultaneous determination of dihydroxybenzene isomers by differential pulse voltammetry(DPV).The catalytic peak current obtained was linearly dependent on the concentrations of catechol(CC),resorcinol(RC),and hydroquinone(HQ) in the range of 0.8-280.0 μmol/L,1.5-85.0 μmol/L,and 0.4-200.0 μmol/L in phosphate buffer(pH 6.5),respectively.
