Abstract
A high performance liquid chromatography method for separation and determination of terephthalic acid in fermentation broth was described.In this work,terephthalic acid(PTA),(4-carboxybenzaldehyde(4-CBA),)and p-toluic acid(p-TOL) were completely separated and determined in 6 minutes.It was proved to be a rapid,effective way to determine and control the PTA in fermentation broth.Linear range of the method was 0.2～200 μg/mL.The relative standard deviations was 1.52%.
