The Depositional Feature of Upper Jurassic in Yemen 69 Block

For making clear Yemen 69 block jurassic upper series stratigraphic depositional feature,evaluating its potential oil and gas bearing character,by the exercise of logging,well logging and seismic facies analysis,this paper analyzes instrument,Upper Jurassic stratigraphic division,lithologic characteristic,depositional environment and depositional faices in the area.Upper Jurassic chiefly belonges to shore shallow sea-bathyal environment-deep-seated deposit environment,the fan-delta front environment takes the second place.These environment could be divided into oceanic trench basin facies,gutter basin fringe slope facies,bathyal facies,shelf mix-accumulated facies,offshore tidal-flat facies,the fan-delta front facies and evaporation lagoon isofacies.At the same time we think Upper Jurassic itself can possess better source-reservoir-caprock association condition,so it will possess better oil and gas exploration perspective.
