Implementation of Electronic Image Stabilization Based on TMS320DM642 in Intelligent Traffic System

Camera vibration causes the instability of the image sequence and affects the surveillance directly in the Intelligent Traffic System. Therefore, the electronic image stabilization becomes more and more important and necessary. After analyzing the accuracy and real-time of several electronic image stabilization algorithms based on full-pixel search, an improved algorithm based on half-pixel search is given and the implementation of it in the embedded system based on TMS320DM642 is presented.
