Investigation of Infectious Disease Epidemic Management in Medical Institutions of Anhui Province

Objective To understand the current situation of infection disease epidemic management in medical facilities and provide advisory references to infection disease management and inspection for heath administrative department in Anhui province.Methods 89 medical facilities were investigated in Hefei,Chizhou and Suzhou from July 2005 to February 2006 using stratified sampling.The results showed that the management and system of infection disease reporting were weak and delayed in primary health care sector.Conclusion The duties of health inspection agencies weren't clear in prevention and control infection disease.The level of infection disease management and inspection should be entanced.
