Quantitative assessment of the facial features of a Mexican population dataset.

•We study Mexican facial variation in frontal and lateral images (14–69 age range).•Width and height explained most of facial variability.•All age groups showed sexual dimorphism, except for individuals above 39 years old.•Both sexes showed age-related changes, except for females above 29 years old.•The pattern of covariation between views differs between males and females.
