Automated online coupling of robot-assisted single drop microextraction and liquid chromatography.

•An automated high-throughput analytical setup has been developed.•SDME and LC were online integrated in an automated fashion for first time.•Extractant large drops were exploiting and online transferred to the LC system.•Online SDME proved to be a fast strategy for the determination of trace pollutants.
