Simulation of The Synthesis Route of MoS 2 at Laboratory Scale: Comparison Between Simulated and Experimental Results

Layered materials such as Mos2are widely used as solid lubricants or as additives in liquid oils. In recent years, interest in the development of new synthesis methods of molybdenum disulfide nanomaterials has been realized because of their unique structure and superior properties. In this contribution, the results of experimental MoS 2 nanospheres synthesis process, developed at our laboratory are compared to a numerical process simulation at laboratory scale using the DWSIM software.
