摘要
We apply an iterative reconstruction method to galaxy mocks in redshift space obtained from N-body simulations. Comparing the two-point correlation functions for the reconstructed density field, we find that although the performance is limited by shot noise and galaxy bias compared to the matter field, the iterative method can still reconstruct the initial linear density field from the galaxy field better than the standard method both in real and in redshift space. Furthermore, the iterative method is able to reconstruct both the monopole and quadrupole more precisely, unlike the standard method. We see that as the number density of galaxies gets smaller, the performance of reconstruction gets worse due to the sparseness. However, the precision in the determination of bias (∼20%) hardly impacts on the reconstruction processes.
