Sensorimotor system changes in adolescent Rugby players post-concussion

Introduction: Symptoms experienced by athletes following concussion vary considerably. A multifaceted approach to the assessment of the sensorimotor system may provide greater understanding of the specific deficits seen post-concussion. Thorough assessment may inform and guide physiotherapy interventions aimed at promoting safe player return-to-sport. Our study aimed to investigate the changes in sensorimotor function in adolescent Rugby players in the acute and return-to-sport period following a concussion.
