摘要
•Cobalt-doped nanotubes were prepared in a single anodization step.•Wafers were prepared in the presence of a Co-DTPA complex.•Successful insertion of cobalt inside the TiO2 lattice is confirmed.•Hydrogen production increases fourfold when compared to pristine TiO2 nanotubes.
