Oxidative stress as an indicator of niche-width preference of mangrove Rhizophora stylosa
Forest Ecology and Management(2019)
摘要
•Salinity and inundation are considered dominant abiotic drivers in mangrove.•These drivers cause the induction of reactive oxygen species (ROS).•Inundation imposed a higher-order oxidative stress than the effect of salinity.•The species of Rhizophora stylosa showed lower tolerance to inundation.•Frequently inundated areas (i.e. seafront zones) may suffer from oxidative stress.
