Its pore structure is comprised of two orthogonal components that simultaneously capture the first order effects of electric, elastic and fluid-flow phenomena. A workflow is introduced for joint modeling and prediction of multiple properties. Two sets of core measurements are used to demonstrate the validity and advantages of this method. The workflow is applied to a well-log dataset for improved log analysis and reservoir property prediction. This workflow may be extended to the prediction of reservoir properties using elastic properties derived from 3D seismic data.
