Although the strike-slip property of the faults makes stress mechanisms complicated, the physical simulation experiment about the typical faults helps to do more in-depth analysis. According to the geometry characteristics and the stress field that the faults have been experienced, we built simplified evolution model of the faults.Based on the analysis above, we put forward three structural patterns in the conjugate area, X-shape, V-shape band-shaped, and analyze the control of hydrocarbon accumulation combined with the exploration practice.Presentation Date: Wednesday, October 17, 2018Start Time: 1:50:00 PMLocation: Poster Station 12Presentation Type: PosterKeywords: fracture stimulation, modeling, time slice, faults, interpretationPermalink: https://doi.org/10.1190/segam2018-2997519.1FiguresReferencesRelatedDetails SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts 2018ISSN (print):1052-3812 ISSN (online):1949-4645Copyright: 2018 Pages: 5520 publication data© 2018 Published in electronic format with permission by the Society of Exploration GeophysicistsPublisher:Society of Exploration Geophysicists HistoryPublished Online: 27 Aug 2018 CITATION INFORMATION Jing Wu, Mingchun Wang, Lei Gao, Wenbo Gao, and Tao Jiang, (2018), "Structural analysis of the conjugate area: A case study in Shaleitian uplift," SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts : 1828-1832. https://doi.org/10.1190/segam2018-2997519.1 Plain-Language Summary Keywordsfracture stimulationmodelingtime slicefaultsinterpretationPDF DownloadLoading ...
