The cover picture shows a convenient and straightforward iron-based catalytic protocol for the N-alkylation of amines with readily available carboxylic acids in the presence of hydrosilanes. A broad range of primary and secondary anilines are successfully converted to the corresponding tertiary anilines. This method expands the application of earth-abundant iron catalysis and represents an environmentally friendly example for the reductive amination of carboxylic acids to afford alkylated anilines.
