Abstract
•The DBD reactor having segmented electrodes was introducing to decompose toluene.•The plasma characteristics was improved by introducing the segmented electrode.•The ozone generation performance increased by the increased plasma characteristics.•The ozone consumption was not proportional to the increase of ozone generation.•The increased current affected the decomposition of toluene absorbed on absorbent.
