Arthroscopic Massive Rotator Cuff Repair

Early reports on arthroscopic massive rotator cuff repair demonstrated acceptable clinical outcomes with low rates of postoperative cuff integrity. More recent literature suggests that improved arthroscopic diagnostic and repair techniques have led to improved outcomes, including correction of pseudoparalysis. These improvements include better recognition of subscapularis tearing, improved arthroscopic cuff mobilization maneuvers, and improved fixation techniques.
