Abstract
Modeling of the possibility to obtain lasing in gas-flow slab RF-discharge oxygen-iodine setup, when gas mixture CF(3)I1:O-2:He is excited under various conditions, was performed. Reactions involving iodide CF3I and photon balance equation were added to the model for this purpose. Calculations showed that the laser action is achievable with additional cooling of the gas channel walls in proposed experimental conditions.
