Abstract
•Graphene oxide was successfully reduced on the glassy carbon electrode by Zn/HCl system.•Simple and new strategy was applied for the preparation of Pd nanonetwork decorated on the rGO.•3-D Pd/rGO electrocatalyst shows high activity and durability toward ethanol oxidation.
