Abstract
TETA or TETA-AEP mixtures were used as an activator to enhance CO2 capture in the MDEA solution. The effect of amount and type of activators, and the viscosity of absorbents on CO2 capture were discussed. The results showed that the positive effect of TETA-AEP mixtures on CO2 capture in the MDEA solution was greater than that of TETA. The optimal absorbent was No. V, whose CO2 absorption capacity/desorption efficiency was 3.08 times/1.18 times of No. CYRILLIC CAPITAL LETTER BYELORUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN I. The viscosity had a little influence on CO2 absorption and an obvious effect on CO2 desorption.
