Improving the hydrophilicity and chronocoulometric performance of TiO2 nanotubular arrays by Sr@Si doping

Abstract
Improving the hydrophilicity of titania nanotubular arrays (TNAs) could promote their interfacial reaction rate when they interact under aqueous conditions. In this work, we proposed a simple hydrothermal method for Si and Sr doping. A significant hydrophilicity improvement could be observed in TNAs after the doping process. Therefore, Si@Sr/TNAs exhibited a superior urease loading and showed excellent chronocoulometric performance towards urea interaction.
